I made my first cake with SunFlour yesterday, a cinnamon swirl coffee cake. I have used almond flour and coconut flour for years, I’m keto. Things were always a bit gritty, good, but gritty texture. This cake was silky smooth just like with regular flour. It is delicious! I have 10 pounds and will be ordering more! You don’t have to refrigerate as you do with almond and coconut flour! It’s a tad expensive, but if you bought a dozen keto cupcakes at the bakery it would be at least $45. I can make lots of baked goods with a 5 pound bag. Quality is worth the cost if your health is concerned. I am now a huge fan and very happy customer!

This is my second purchase, and I'm really taking a liking to this flour. It's not nearly as heavy as almond flour, and the taste is more neutral. Baked goods seem to spoil faster, but I've mitigated that by freezing batches. I just wish it was less expensive! 10 lbs cost more than $90.00, and that was with a significant discount. I'm hopeful that over time the cost will come down a bit!

We hear alot that it is a better taste and texture experience than almond flour and because is is so naturally moist (not dry), baked goods will do better if stored in frig or freezer right away or after a couple days of baking. As for the cost, we will keep working to bring that down but we pick the highest quality seeds on the market (most protein, healthiest fat, mildest taste) and those just cost more.
The 5lb bags arrived on time. I was surprised at the bulk packaging, but it made sense to not waste precious money on fancy packaging. I immediately transferred the entire bag to a tupperware storage container and said thank you for not charging me an arm and a leg for pretty. Appreciated the enclosed recipe as well. So far I've only used the flour for a quiche crust, but my son says he likes the taste better than the almond flour I used before. We may go back to having a crust on our cheesecake. He wants me to make the recipe for Naan bread to see if he likes sunflour better in that.
